Call for submissions

Submissions due by April 20th

Changing Colors welcomes submissions of poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, art, and graphic design. We focus on works that portray how a certain color signifies a specific emotions or emotional changes. We strive to portray thoughts and feelings through spectacles of color. For literature, each piece should incorporate the color that you believe your submission signifies the most and the color should be clear and concise throughout the piece. For art and graphic design, go wild with color! Try and portray a world full of different colors and emotions.

Prose: Work must be previously unpublished. 7,500 words maximum. We seek original work with well-developed characters, and writing that captures emotions while also being able to relate to readers on a deeper level.

Poetry: Work must be previously unpublished. Poetry is open to all styles relating to the theme of this edition. We seek poems that capture attention, relate to readers and individuals, and are well thought-out.

Art and Graphic Design: Work must be original and detailed. Add as much color as you can!
